1870‒1944
An important European agro geologist, speleologist and paleontologist served as an assistant to the director of the Diószeg sugar mill. Baron Kuffner saw his immense potential and awarded him a scholarship. He received many awards and gained great success. To this day he is one of the most prominent Hungarian scientists.
