Gejza Büchler

1899‒1949

Dr. Büchler studied medicine at the Masaryk University in Brno and since 1927 worked as a general doctor in Diószeg. For his Jewish background, he was dismissed from his job in 1938 and forced to go to a work camp, which he later deserted from. As a prisoner, he survived the horrors of gulags. After the war, he returned, but soon died as a result of the warfare.
