She moved to Sládkovičovo in 1947 during the resettlement from the Slovak village of Pitvaros in the south of Hungary. After retirement she began to write memories of her native village. She wrote of everyday lives of her family and friends and ig great colorful details described folklore customs and the apparitions. The Stories from Pitvaros is a memorial to her beloved town Pitvaros.
