1916‒1941
The Diószeg native of Czech origin studied at the Pilot School in Prostějov and after the outbreak of World War II became a member of the 311 Czechoslovak Squadron RAF, where he completed many successful missions. His last flight was on May 15, 1941, when his Wellington KX-L R-1015 crashed and the entire crew died.
