He belongs to the generation which was born in Pitvaros but grew up and studied in Sládkovičovo. He partook in public life of the municipality and its surroundings. He worked at the county council of Galanta and from 1976 to 1987 he was the chairman of the local and then the town’s council of Sládkovičovo. It is thanks to him that Sládkovičovo regained its status as a town.
