An expert sugar manufacturer, a farmer, an inventor, a breeder, and an art collector who built the unique Kuffner economic complex in Diószeg. In all of Europe it was an example of impeccable food and agricultural industry. He was a founder and a chairman of several professional associations and organizations in Hungary and subsequently also in Czechoslovakia.
