Oskar Pfeffer

Since 1916 Oskar served as the administrator of Kuffner’s sugar mill in Diószeg and after baron Karl Kuffner’s death he practically managed the entire complex. He was a member of the Czechoslovak Sugar Association, an important lobbyist and a well-respected man among the Jewish entrepreneurs in Slovakia. During World War II he immigrated to Canada and the United States.
